Hello South Carolina!  Last night we anchored in what seemed like the middle of no where, so we were pleasantly surprised when we realized there was a marina/restaurant a short dingy ride away.  We headed in for a beer.  It was quiet enough when we got there but very quickly started to pick up (with no one under the age of 65, mind you). We thought, wow, for a Tuesday night these folks are really givin' er.  Turns out it was 'Trivia Night'.  We were asked if we wanted to join in, after shyly shaking my head, the atmosphere started to become contagious so we asked for a card, we were the last team to join in under team name 'sailing nomads'.

So how did we do? Dead last.  We didn't realize we were up against professional trivia players, plus some of the questions were really unfair (you'd have to be at least 100 to know this stuff) and I think some of the teams were cheating.  So not only did we come dead last, to add insult to injury, the trivia master on the mic actually started to make fun of our answers, he'd start by saying, "and who wants to know what the 'sailing nomads' answered?" to howls of laughter from the other teams. Very nice.

Anyways, with 'trivia night' behind us we are on our way, think we are going to try to make it just past Georgetown, within striking distance to Charlestown.
