What's in a name?
Yes. The name of our boat is Dreamer Blue. For those that know us, you wouldn't expect us to be rocking such a name on the side of our boat. Ever since we bought her, our intent has been to change it to something wicked-awesome. Every time we came up with something wicked-awesome the more we talked about it's awesomeness, the lamer the name seemed to become. Lamer than Dreamer Blue? It's hard to say. We got really excited one day while Erik was sanding the stern and discovered what he thought looked like an old name that had been painted over. What if our wicked-awesome name had been there all along? So off we went to get paint stripper. We let it sit over night and woke up like kids on Christmas morning only to uncover the 'DR' in Dreamer Blue. After that we obtained the history of the boat and discovered that she had indeed been Dreamer Blue all along. So rock it? We will. Plus we've gotten into the habit of referring to her as Ol' Dreamy, and I really don't think we could stop at this point. Who are we to change history? It's just who she is.
